The recommended engine oil used on the 2010 Buick Enclave is SAE 5W-30. Remember when purchasing oil, to make sure it has the API logo on the bottle. If in case You live in an area where it gets lower than -20F, it is recommended You use SAE 0W-30. If You're planning on changing the oil and You want to know what the capacity is, I can help You with that. The capacity on Your vehicle iS5.5 US quarts with a filter. I would recommend that check Your oil level at least weekly if You drive Your vehicle daily. Making sure Your vehicle is at the appropriate level will prevent engine failure.

The 2010 Buick Enclave recommends using only an oil that meets GM Standard GM6094M. SAE 5W-30 is best for the2010 Buick Enclave. These numbers on an oil container show its viscosity, or thickness. Do not use other viscosity oils such as SAE 20W-50. The 2010 Buick Enclave oil capacity is 5.5 US quarts (5.2 liters).
