The 2013 Toyota RAV4 has a 2.5 L 4Cylinder engine that should be using 0W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil in all temperatures. If it is not available then it is okay to use 5W-20 but then at the next oil change You should go back to using 0W-20. The capacity for the vehicle iS4.6 quarts with a filter and the torque for the drain plug iS30 ft/lbs. Using oil will extend the life of Your car because it helps to keep the engine clean and running. You should change the oil and the filter every 7,500 to 10,000 miles because it doesn't last forever. The cost of an oil change if taken to a mechanic is between $20 to $30 in labor costs.
