If Your oil change light is on in Your 2018 GMC Terrain then the first thing that You should do is make sure to change the oil. The reminder light is there to help You remember to change it so that it protects Your engine. If You have already changed it then You will want to go ahead and put the vehicle in the on position without starting the engine. You can then press the gas pedal to the floor three times within five seconds. After that turn off the vehicle and then turn it back on and start the engine. The light should turn off shortly after the engine starts up.

Turn on the ignition but without cranking the engine, and display the remaining oil life on the display by using the navigation button. Then fully press the gas pedal to the floor three times quickly, within five seconds.
