I had the oil changed in my v6 Colorado and the tech told me that it required 7.5 quarts to fill. Is it normal with this vehicle?
Oil cap data is a base line suggestion. Minus 40 deg Montana vs 105 Deg Arizona will be two different viscosities Check your owner’s manual for suggestions based on your climatic region.

@Kenton Jones - The 3.6L Is a V6 engine, so your vehicle is either the 2.5L or the 2.8L.
