It is possible to flat tow a 2019 and newer Ram 1500 with four wheel drive. The procedure is pretty simple to set up. First You will need to turn on the truck and leave the transmission in park. Next You will need to put the transfer case in neutral. After that You can attach Your tow equipment and turn off the truck. You can only tow the vehicle forward in this configuration and if You need to go backwards You will need to disconnect the truck to move it and then reconnect it. If You have a two wheel drive truck You will need to use a tow dolly and tow it from the rear wheels.

The ram 1500 is flat towable due to the fact that it is a 4x4 vehicle.

A ram 1500 is designed to be towed flat with the vehicle in park and the four wheel drive transfer case in neutral assuming its an auto. This is not however the case with any or all 4x4 vehicles. Simply stated, it has to do with the lubrication of the transfer case parts. Look at early Tacomas for example. Manual, auto and transfer case are all design elements. Steering can also come into play. Check the owners manual.

I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado 4×4. The truck is parked backed in, so I can only get to the front not the back. How can I have it towed?? Is there anyway possible.
