The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban does indeed have a cabin air filter. It is very easy to find, as well. The first thing You will need to do is go to the passenger side of Your vehicle, and sit inside. Next, use a pry tool or the tip of a flat head screwdriver to help You pull the glove box from it's slot. Once You have it removed, You can see inside the cavity. There You will find the cabin air filter. If You find that it is d***y or clogged, You will need to replace it. You can expect to pay between $8 and $37 for a new filter, which can be purchased at most retail and automotive locations.

I have a 2012 Chevy Suburban 1500 LTZ and it does NOT come with a cabin filter. I figured out that I have to install a 'retrofit kit' to be able to install a cabin filter (Google it.). You basically have to cut the plastic opening to the filter box and put a little door on it to install a filter. What a stupid design!
