Good news for Acura MDX owners -- bluetooth integration was offered beginning in the 2005 model year. However, the bad news is that it was only an option on the top rated Touring trim levels. Therefore, there's a good chance that Your car doesn't come with the functionality. However, there are thankfully still other options, thanks to aftermarket solutions. If You really can't live without bluetooth connectivity (or the decade and a half old system is getting You down), You'll be pleased to know that companies like Sony, JVC, Alpine, Pioneer, and Kenwood all manufacture bluetooth enabled head units which will fit Your '05 MDX. These can be had for as little as about $100, and shouldn't take more than a long afternoon to install.
How does one connect his phone to the car Bluetooth. I have the 2005 Acura mdx touring and I cannot seem to connect my phone to it. Who can help please?

The 2005 Acura MDX Touring is the only trim package that offers Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth connectivity happens via Honda's HandsFreeLink system.
I'd like to know this answer too. Stephanie didn't answer it.
