While the 2009 Chevrolet Impala came in a total of five different trim levels (many of which offering features that were "revolutionary" for the time), not a single one included standard or optional bluetooth connectivity. The good news is, even eleven years later, it's not too late to upgrade. Bluetooth connectivity can be had quite inexpensively these days, with companies like Sony, Boss, JVC, Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer manufacturing head units that will fit an 09 Impala. These can be found for under $100 (or, if it better suits Your style, up to several hundred dollars). Most Audio shops will charge about $200 to $400 for their installation, or You could likely do it Yourself with some YouTube videos and a long afternoon. If bluetooth is really that important to You, You can always find a way.

The 2009 Chevrolet Impala does not come with Bluetooth connectivity from GM; but if your 2009 Impala has code UPF you can add Bluetooth connectivity. Sorry to say, but if you don't have the UPF code, then you can get Bluetooth connectivity for your 2009 Impala.
I believe we're getting confused here about, needing a phone with Aux cord, and the stereo system being capable of pairing to WiFi
