Unfortunately, Subaru did not include bluetooth capability on the 2009 Forester, either for wireless calls or for music streaming. However, the good news is that aftermarket solutions do exist. The simplest way to get bluetooth on the 09 Forester is to purchase a bluetooth receiver, which can plug into the auxiliary jack. These run for a few dollars at places like Amazon and Walmart. If You really want the highest quality though, You're likely going to want to replace Your head unit. Companies like Pioneer, Kenwood, Boss, and Sony make aftermarket head units which can be had relatively inexpensively. Alternatively, You can find models costing up to several hundred dollars. It all comes down to what You're looking for, and how much You're willing to pay.

No the 2009 Subaru Forester did not come with bluetooth and you would need to buy a kit if you wanted it added to your vehicle.
