The 2011 Toyota RAV4 has optional bluetooth that is available depending on the options that were chosen at the time it was ordered. In 2011 bluetooth was just beginning to gain widespread availability in cars. The bluetooth system in the Rav4 has two different things that it can do. You can use it to make and answer calls so You do not have to use Your phone while driving. It can also be used to stream music from Your smartphone or bluetooth enabled MP3 player to Your car's infotainment system. As streaming music has become more popular on smartphones it has taken over as the most common Audio source in a car from the CD player of the past.
