The 2013 Ford Explorer does not have a recall for windshield molding failure. You can check the manufacturer website to see if vehicles have recalls on them or not.

Is Ford have a recall for the front windshield side moldings?
Jeniffer - where did you find that info? Is there a date slated for this? I checked current recalls and did not see that one listed and happen to have an issue w/the molding. Thanks.

Not much of a safety concern, unless it flies off at freeway speeds and you're the one driving behind it...
I have a 2013 and my windshield trim was literally flung off on I-10 heading to Texas for a funeral this weekend. I had to pull of and push it backin and find a auto shop so I could purchase the proper glue. 1 1/2 of wasted time. And my child lost her cellphone during that stop!!!🙄🙄🙄🙄

I hope so. They ought to have a recall the pealing paint too. It’s the second Ford I’ve had that does that!

Doubt it. It’s a cosmetic Trim piece that doesn’t cause much of a safety concern.
