The 2013 Ford F-150 does have a cabin filter. Being a sweaty mess is never a good time. That's why the air conditioner needs to be in top shape. You will face issues with this part at some point. The motor may become faulty. An inaccurate thermostat could come up. A smelly odor from the vents will cause problems with Your comfort. A fan may become loose. A Freon leak will cause You to sweat. You will come across a few annoying noises from the air conditioner. Loose mounting bolts will become a nuisance. A bad compressor will get noisy. Too much Freon will make this happen. These sounds need to be look into quickly or You will lose Your mind.

Everyone needs to stop posting their opinions and "wishes" as to whether or not someone else's F150 has a cabin air filter. As any SANE and LOGICAL person knows, this depends on the model and trim level of the truck. I go "cheap".. Once I bought an STX because I got a great deal, but I usually buy an XL... Because I want a TRUCK not a stupid "Caddy" or Lincoln with a bed. If I want all the silly c**p, I'll get that with my CAR... Not a truck. A truck is for work. Anyway, again, SOME OF THEM HAVE IT and SOME OF THEM DO NOT HAVE IT. My 2013 definitely does NOT have a cabin air filter.
I have a 2013 F-150 XLT Crew Cab and it does not have an in cabin air filter.

My 2013 F-150 FX-4 does NOT have a cabin filter. Confirmed by both AutoZone and then a Ford Dealer (when I didn't believe AutoZone - sorry AZ, had to check).

Not sure how the 'top answer' got chosen. It looks like only some F150's have a cabin air filter, which was only offered as an add-on. Anyone who is posting that they have one, PLEASE describe where it is! Maybe I have one too, but not sure where, unless it is behind the glove box as on many vehicles.

There probably isn’t a cabin air filter for your 2013 Ford F-150. That’s because a cabin air filter was actually a manufacturer’s add-on for many years of the F-150, up through its twelfth generation (2009-2014). Unless you own a 2015 or newer model year, it might not have one!
