The 2014 BMW X3 does not have the option for a spare tire. There is also no place to mount a spare tire in the car. While You could get an aftermarket tire and mounting kit, this is not ideal. The vehicle has no good place to mount it, so no matter what You do it is going to look tacky. You could put it in the trunk, but this will eat most of Your space, so again not great. The good thing about BMW cars is that they come with run-flat tires. These tires are designed to be self-sealing in the event of a puncture, meaning if they get damaged they will last long enough to get You to a repair shop. They are not safe to drive on forever though, so don't just keep using them.

BMW does not include a spare tire in its 2014 X3. Instead, the tires are "run flats" that are supposed to enable the driver to get to the nearest BMW dealer or auto shop in order to replace the damaged tire.
