Unfortunately, the 2015 Acura MDX does not come with Apple CarPlay functionality. Acura joined the CarPlay family in 2017, with the introduction of the technology into the NSX. In 2018, the MDxAnd TLX joined the ranks, with the ILxAnd RDX coming aboard a year later in 2019. You may be hard pressed to find a 2015 model year of anything that comes with CarPlay, though they do exist. If You've looked into the tech and decided that it's something You want, several manufacturers want to make that happen for You. You can pick up an aftermarket head unit from the likes of Pioneer, Kenwood, or Alpine, but it will certainly cost You; CarPlay units typically price around $500, plus installation. You can always look at it as a safety upgrade; Apple believes it as such, saying that its friendly UI keeps eyes on the road and off of phones, thereby reducing the frequency and severity of accidents.

No. And it can’t be added with an aftermarket radio without disabling other functions which will hurt resale value.

The 2015 Acura MDX does not have Apple CarPlay available. Apple CarPlay is available on 2018 - 2019 Acura MDX models.
