The 2016 BMW X5 does have a spare tire stored inside the car under the panel in the cargo area. To get to this You will need to pull the panel up by finding the seam in between it and the car. It may be under the carpet, so You will need to pull it back up. Under the panel will be the spare tire as well as the lug wrench and the jack. If You need to change the tire then You can store the normal one under here until You get a new one. Do not drive on the spare tire for a long time, it is not meant for it.

Yes, you can get a 2016 BMW X5 with a spare tire, but only as a option on its 4 trims. It's a compact spare tire that's stored inside the car, under a panel in the cargo area.
