A number of manufacturers have moved away from including CD players in their infotainment centers, and Toyota is no exception. Contrary to what You may hear, however, the CD player IS still available on lower trim levels of the 2016 Toyota RAV4. The upper trim levels with upgraded infotainment, however, no longer offer it. Therefore, depending on Your specific configuration, You may or may not have a CD player. It's probably wise that in 2021, You move away from the media anyway; the '16 RAV4 will probably be the last "new" car You purchase that still has one. You can fit hundreds or thousands of CDs on a single USB stick, and even more on an MP3 player (or moSTsmartphones). CDs are quickly going the way of the cassette, so You'd do well to move on with the technology.

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 does not offer a cd player. In order to get this feature, you'll need to install an aftermarket head unit.
