The 2017 Cadillac XT5 did not come available with a CD player and there was no option available to add one on any trim level. This vehicle is fitted with a USB port and an AUX port however and the means You can purchase YourseLFAn aftermarket CD player and plug it in. There will not be any tools required to do through this method this since You are just plugging the device in to the ports. If You wanted to actually install one in to the car You can purchase a full system but it will cost between $300 and $500 require knowledge of wiring the system together to fit in Your vehicle.

The Cadillac XT5 has a variety of connectivity and entertainment options such as Bluetooth as well as satellite radio enabled. However, sometimes the kids want to listen to a special CD or, you are really looking forward to that travel mix you made a while back. If you are looking for a CD player in this vehicle, you will be disappointed. It does not have that option from the manufacturer. A CD player may be purchased aftermarket or, you can put that music on your phone and play it through the Bluetooth connection.

My first Cadillac, it's an XT5 Luxury model. Just got it yesterday and never thought I ever had to ask if it had a CD player. Little disappointed, now as I start going through the accessories what else I do not have, that always were on my Mercedes.....
