The 2018 Dodge Journey does come equipped with uconnect on the crossroad and GT trim levels. However, the base trim level does not come with the uconnect software. Uconnect® is the award-winning platform for connected cars integrated into the brand vehicles Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram and FIAT® 1. It offers advanced communication, Access, entertainment, navigation and communication capabilities that are as efficient as they are quick to use. The Uconnect is simple to use on Your Dodge, You will press the phone button on the Uconnect screen than Add Device > Settings. The system will be in discoverable which will allow You to connect Your mobile device to it after following the rest of the instructions. This will allow Your phone to have access to the User interface via Your phone and vice versa.

Yes, Uconnect is standard on the 2018 Dodge Journey Crossroad and GT models. Uconnect is not offered on the base model SE, but it is an option on the next trim up - the SXT. Uconnect offers a wide range of features to enhance the driving experience. There's a big upgrade on touch screen size, from 4.3 inches to 8.4 inches. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included, along with Bluetooth Audio Streaming. Once you download the app to your smartphone, you can start your Journey remotely and be alerted if the theft alarm is triggered. Two things to note, some UConnect services come at all additional cost - such as Sirius Traffic Plus. Also to continue to use some features after an initial purchase period, you need to subscribe to UConnect Access at extra cost.
