The 2018 Ford EcoSport did not come standard with a spare tire on any trim level. There was however an option to add it on to the S level trim. This option would have included a spare tire that would be mounted to the rear of the vehicle like You normally see on vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee. If You have a model that does not have a spare tire You can easily add one to Your vehicle Yourself for under $200.

Ok no spare nojack what if Iwant to replace my brake pads myself then what,then I need.To buy a hydraulic jack and.Wrench
Same problem with my 2019 Ecosport SES, NO JACK,NO BAR TO REMOVE THE NUTS, NO NOTHING, so i have to go at a garage to get my winter tires put On!!!!!! This is my last FORD.

I made the mistake of buying a 2018 Ecosport. No power, poor ride, little space for back seat passengers and no spare tire. I had a blowout and ruined the rim. I payed $511.58 for a replacement tire and the rim 30 days ago and I am still waiting for the rim. Thanks Ford Motor Company for your fast service.

No, the 2018 Ford EcoSport doesn't have a spare tire, but you can add it as an option on the base S Trim. That option is for a full-size spare tire that's mounted on the rear door and comes a jack. But it's only available on that single model. The funny thing about it, the EcoSport was designed to have that spare tire on the back of the vehicle similar to Jeep Wranglers.

I ought a 2018 Ford Ecosport last year when car prices were high and selection was limited. Not happy with no spare included having to rely on a can of goop and the air pump. I did the research and got a donut spare tire and scissor Jack from a salvage yard for $60. The spare is from a 2011 Ford Fiesta with same hole size, bolt pattern and depth to fit the Ecosport. The Jack and wrench came from a 2015 Ford Escape because upper end wheel size on Ford Fiesta may impact the Jack screw length to not lift the for enough clearance to change tire. The spre and a small duffel bag of tools take up some trunk space, but better than relying on chemicals when I have flat tire.
