The 2018 Toyota Tundra does have Apple CarPlay. You will come into difficulties with the sound. This might be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will need to have these issues fixed pronto. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the problems are coming from the phone, it could be that the software won't update, the device will not sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is almost dead, or an object is blocking the signal.

WRONG! It does not. Starting in 2020, the Tundra will have CarPlay. I have a 2018 Platinum and it does not.

The 2018 Toyota Tundra has Apple CarPlay tied to the Toyota Entune 3.0 infotainment system and models with this feature should also have Apple CarPlay access once drivers set everything up.
