Like many manufacturers, GM has skimped when it comes to compact disc players, and has declined to include one in the 2019 GMC Sierra. Other than cost, many users found the skipping of discs annoying, and the playing of mp3s directly from CD to be error prone and frustration. Moving to bluetooth solutions or even using SD cards is generally seen as superior. However, if You'd like to install an after market one, LDiMakes a USB CD player that's compatible with Your Sierra. Currently at around $235 on Amazon. Installation couldn't be simpler, either: You can just plus this into Your car's USB port and boom! You've got optical disc capabilities, without even having to pop open Your dash!
