If You're considering disabling the anti-lock braking system on Your Chevrolet Silverado, let me first caution You with one word: Don't. But if Your mind's made up, there are a few ways You could go about doing so. Fair warning that this will diMINIsh a portion of Your braking power; stopping distance will be longer, since You'll no longer get the optimized front-rear bias in braking that ABS offers. If You're having issues with Your ABS system, You should repair it, full stop. But in the meantime, You can pull the ABS fuse, disconnect the yaw sensor (if so equipped), or disable the ABS module by disconnecting it. This is, however, a short term solution for a long term problem, and I'd recommend against it.

I took my truck to the transmission shop after it went out and the shop told me that the abs is what caused it to go out by not being able to lube the torque converter

To disable the abs system on chevy silverado is an easy job, that requires basically no tools, or maybe a fuse puller. You just need to locate the abs fuse and remove it from the fuse box.

All you do is hold the towhaul button for like 5 seconds and grade breaking will turn off/on
