To perform the 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 tpms reset, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=LUOdmm2U268 This part will need to be changed eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any accidents on the road. Making sure Your tires are in the best condition is key to not crashing. You will come into problems with this part at some time or another. Check for holes, in case You run over something sharp. The part might become loose at some point. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. You might run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month.

I dont know exactly, but ive read some models have it by the steering wheel somewhere and ive also heard you need a special tool/computer to do it. Im in the same boat and cannot locate a button for it so i think i may take it to an auto parts store that can do a code reading. Id try that rout, it couldnt hurt anything. Good luck!

To reset the tpms to the 2017 dodge ram, turn on the ignition before starting the vehicle click and hold down the tpms reset button; when the tire pressure light flashes 3x, turn off the reset button. Start the engine and let it go for about 20 minutes. The sensor needs to be reset to this activity. Drive 10mins@ 50 mph or more. Get on the highway and travel there. Set the cruise control to ensure this speed, ideally. Normally, it helps to reset the sensor. The next time you start the engine, the message is gone.
