To reset the anti theft on the Dodge Ram 1500 You need to first close all of the doors on the truck. Once all of the doors are locked You will want to unlock only the driver side door. Now insert the key into the ignition of the truck. Turn it on, then quickly turn it back off. Do this a total of three times in under 5 seconds. This should reset the anti theft. If it does not then You were not quick enough and You will need to start over by locking and unlocking the door.

To reset the anti theft system in a dodge ram 1500 series put the key in the ignition in the on position with the engine off for 60 seconds.
