If Your Chevrolet Traverse is equipped with folding rear seats, You'll need to follow a few simple steps in order to stow them. First, fold down the head restraint. A release button will be found on the side; press this, and the head rest will go down. Pull the handle on the top of the seat to unlock it. You'll find a raised tab near the seatback when the seat is unlocked. You can then fold the seat forward by pulling the lever on the right side of the rear cargo area, if Your Traverse is so equipped. To re-deploy the seats, ensure that Your seatbelt is in the belt stowage clip, raise the seat up and make sure it is locked in place.
