To reset the security system in the 2006 Chrysler 300, You'll need two preprogRammed (and operable) keys. Insert the first key into the ignition and switch to the ON position for a period of ten seconds. Turn the ignition off, and remove the key. Within five seconds, insert the second key and turn to the ON position. You should hear a single chime after ten seconds, and the red theft dot will begin flashing. Turn the second key off and remove. After ten seconds, the theft alarm should stop, then flash three times, then stop once more. It should be noted, however, that this may or may not work for You. The '06 300 has a tendency have a faulty anti-theft system, so drivers report that more often than not, they've needed to replace the module.

To reset the chrysler 300 security system insert the ignition key and turn it to the on position and then try to start the engine (crank over), the engine will not start. With the key still in the run spot, wait 10 minutes, and the safety light will flash and then go out. Turn the key off and wait for 5 seconds.
