If Your anti theft system is acting up in Your 2009 Mazda6 then You will want to reset the system. It is fairly easy to do and just takes a few minutes. First put Your car in the ACC position and turn off the stereo. Next press the AUTO-M button and channel 6 buttons until You see CODE on Your screen. Press the AUTO-M button again and 6 button again until You see 4 blanks on the screen. You will need to put in A4 digit code and write it down again because that will be used to lock and unlock it. Now You press the two buttons again and it should reset. If You are having trouble with Your anti-theft system after this You will want to contact a Mazda dealership to have them inspect it.

Has anyone gotten any information on how to fix the car or get it out of anti theft mode if the car doesn’t even turn on? This is the second time and I really don’t want to spend $2000 for the dealership to fix it or make excuses as why it costs so much 😭

I was just told to take off black cable on battery for 15 minutes and reset that way.
