It has a lot of trunk space.
It is a reliable car that I cannot trust to get me where I need to go. The work done on it is standard. It is comfortable.
accountCircle Ross A
Great steering wheel construction and easy to control Audio and cruise control.
Handles well, steering wheel has Audio controls and cruise control built in, good gas mileage (both city and highway). All around dependable car. Has ample seating and easy access to the trunk area for short hauls. Seating is good quality fabric and is quite comfortable.

The perfect car if you are a new buyer or looking for a car for your kids.
Slow acceleration, great gas mileage, reliable, perfect first car. There’s air conditioning, Audio sound system, and CD player. The car comes with felt seats but I use a seat cover. The back seats do not have a air vent. The backspace is very roomy. Huge trunk space to fit anything in.

The 2009 Mazda 6 is an extraordinary piece of machinery
The mazda6 is a wonderful reliable car. It is super fast and great for a first car for teens. The only problem is it is very small. Other than that I highly recommend this car. It's extremely easy to maintain and although I live in Florida and use the ac pretty much all day every day it seems as though it never needs to be charged.

Overall great car. I have no complaints so far.
The car is great for a 2009. I bought it with just 92000 and I haven't had a problem with it. Just regular normal maintenance. The seats are very comfortable good heat air condition system. Great on gas. Drives smooth. This is my first having a Mazda. I am usually a American car person but I must say that this car I am really impressed by. The features for me are great. I love my sunroof. Wish I had heated seats and an updated stereo but that's ok.

There have been absolutely No maintenance problems.
It gives great mileage per tank. It looks good. No maintenance problems at all. Only had to have oil changes since I've had it.

Zoom zoom the 6 will have you mesmerized
None so far besides headlight bulbs sometimes. The car is great could use better gas mileage but it's fun to drive. I love it.

My car gets me from one place to another with good gas mileage. It's reliable and safe.
My Mazda is small and efficient. It is also reliable. It is nicknamed Zippy because it is zippy!

Mazda 6: luxurious chaos.
My seatbelt gets caught on the seat-adjusting levels and adjusts while driving. There is no way to stop it and no parts available i can buy to fix this. There's also been a big recall on the airbags used, and the model has no carbon fiber as the 6's used to in 04 and on. There's also very little headroom for me, seeing as how i am 5' 9". There is also metal framing on the seats, with no protection, and it has begun to rust. There are compartments that i cannot access, or lift, because of the engineering design aesthetics. Items have dropped into the crevasses and disappeared, or i can see them but cannot access them.

It has issues specific to that make and model that needed a lot of maintenance
I have had to take it in for repairs that were specific to this car many times. It has lasted me a while but there are too many trips to the dealership to fix Mazda issues
accountCircle Brittan C
It is comfortable and roomy.
I wish it was a little more sporty. Wish it had GPS. Touch screen navigation would be nice. Need a USB port.

Very nice, family vehicle
Very reliable, comfortable car, amazing gas mileage and technology in the vehicle for being older. Runs amazing, and is a good looking car. Interior is very sophisticated to go along well with the practical appearance of the car. Premium sound, performance, and gas mileage in a practical package
accountCircle Michael C
The sunroof window can crack open, needs to be re-closed when the sound of wind gets loud, but it is easy and not much trouble.
The mileage on the vehicle was somewhat high when purchased. It was a used car, so mileage and slight wear and tear was to be expected. I like the way the car looks and drives. May need a tune up soon.

Fantastic and reliable and looks cool!
Problems: has blind spots, especially when driving in reverse. The headlight covers get cloudy soon. I like the car's color ( brilliant silver ). The car is very reliable, it has more the 200,000 miles and it runs great, still has power. I love it! I would like for my next car to be a Mazda 6.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Nyjah H.

It's a great car goes fast but it's hard to see over and sometimes that makes it harder to drive but other than that it's great. Also gas mileage sucks. It barely takes a whole day for the gas to completely drain and then I have to get more gas and it is like forty dollars to fill it so that is pretty annoying.

likeFilled Mansa K.

The. Mileage Given by Mazda,2009, is a major plus. The best I have seen too far. Comfortable too. Long lasting. I recommended this car to a lot of my friends and family. The life of the car is really great.

likeFilled Christin O.

Reliable, good mileage, nice design, and good space in the trunk. I enjoy driving it for long distances and do not get sore. It can haul heavy weights in the mountains as well which is surprising for a V4.

likeFilled Dan Z.

Really cool features and design. All of the details of the grand touring edition make driving easier, safer, and more fun. The sound system and GPS and blind spot detection are some of the top features.

likeFilled Maria C.

I like the following things about my vehicle: (1) small and efficient turning radius, (2) spacious trunk, (3) decent gas mileage, (4) keyless access on driver's side only, and (5) unable to lock the keys in the car.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Nyjah H.

The cons are that everything is always breaking on it in it is old age. I just got two new tires and learned that now I need one more tire. I just got a front end alignment even thought I got one last year. I need to get both front wheel bearings fixed. I need coolant and power steering flush.

dislikeFilled Mansa K.

I don't really notice many cons considering how old my car is.. This car Bluetooth, seat warmers are not usually present in 2009 models. It would have been great if we had them in this car. Automatic start would be a plus too.

dislikeFilled Christin O.

The car is a bit bulky and has a large footprint. It has moderate pick up, but not great. I also prefer more options and this model has limited options for the radio and dashboard. I also find it defrosts quiet slow.

dislikeFilled Dan Z.

The Mazda I purchased is white and I wouldn't recommend a vehicle of that color. It shows dings and dirt more than any other vehicle I have owned. This is a fantastic car. Not much bad that I can say.

dislikeFilled Maria C.

I dislike the following things about my vehicle: (1) the car requires gasoline, (2) there is no backup camera, (3) the dashboard had problems with melting/cracking, (4) the window rings peeled off and had to be replaced, (5) the car alarm randomly goes off, especially in high heat, and (6) there are no air vents in the back seat.
