To reset the TPMS light on a 2016 Kia Rio, the first thing You need to do is inflate the tires to the recommended setting. Check the label on the drivers door jamb to verify the correct pressures, I'm pretty sure the Rio iS33 PSI. To inflate the tires, remove the valve stem cap. Push the air nozzle onto the valve stem firmly so that the air does not leak. Add a little air and then put a tire pressure gauge on the stem to see where the pressure is at. Keep adding until the gauge readS33 PSI. Put the cap back on the valve stem and check the other tires while You are at it to make sure they are properly inflated as well. Now go to the passenger compartment and press the TPMS set button on the dashboard and hold it for about 3 seconds. The TPMS light will flasH3 times and then go out.

To reset the tpms on the 2016 kia rio, press down the pressure warning switch until the tpms lights up three times. Start the vehicle and let it run for 20 minutes then turn off.
