How do i perform the 2016 Volvo XC60 sunroof reset?

If Your 2016 Volvo XC60 is equipped with a sunroof, You'll need to -- from time to time -- be able to perform a sunroof reset. This is particularly valuable if You're replacing the motor, but it might also come in handy if the sunroof just won't open or close fully. Luckily, there's a very simple way to do this, and it has a very high succeSSRate. First, turn the ignition switch to the first position. Press the sunroof switch in order to position the sunroof in its tilt position. Press and hold the switch for at least five seconds, so that the sunroof closes. This should recalibrate the system. If it's still not working, try the same procedure with the sunroof fully open -- this should successfully reset.

Volvo xc60 ,2016 model electric sunroof, I too had issues with sunroof not closing properly, after speaking to a specialist I was informed there is a Master recent , so I tried it and it worked so here is how First turn ignition on, open sunroof fully ,then close sunroof ,keep finger on button for 30 seconds after closer and master reset will reset the sunroof it does work.

My sunroof all of a sudden won't close. Is there a way to reset it or to manually close it. My car has push start button.

To reset the 2016 volvo xc60 sunroof you will need to hold the sunroof open switch until the sunroof begins to close.
