In order to reset the inspection light on a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, the first thing You will need to do is to turn the hazard lights on. The hazard light button is located at the center of the dash between be air vents. Next press and hold the OD/SET button, this is located at the lower right of the speedometer. While holding the button, press the start button Without Your foot being on the brake pedal, that way the engine doesn't start. The drivers display will ask if You want to reset the inspection. Press the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel to verify that You indeed want to reset the inspection message. The message on the dash will change to say that the reset has been completed.

To reset the inspection light in your 2017 vw jetta vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Release and start your vehicle and your inspection light should indicate a reset.
