The 2018 Dodge 1500s radio can be reset by pushing and holding down the volume button, as well as the tuner button for approximately 10-15 seconds. When the radio has started resetting, its screen should go black. After a few seconds, restart the radio to see if it has successfully been reset. If You cant locate the buttons Youre supposed to push and hold, consult Your owner's manual. They can be found on the panel of the radio and are very easy to locate. If Your radio still doesnt reset, it may need to be checked more closely for other possible issues wrong with it. If all else fails, attempt removing Your battery terminals, so the radio loses all power and might reset itself.

I tried both buttons. Screen stayed on and radio continued to change screens and moved to numerous settings on its own. Radio useless and Car Play will not stay on either.

To perform a reset of the 2018 dodge 1500 radio you will push in and hold the volume and the tune button at the same time. Hold for about 10 seconds or until the screen goes black. Wait a few seconds for the screen to load back up.

The 2018 ram with the 8.4 uconnect that has Android and Apple play requires heat up and down on the passenger side, and the front defrost. This will get you into the engineers menu. However there is no reset option on this radio. Only way to reset this radio, unless there is something even more deeply hidden in this radio is to pull the battery cable. I've spent 5 hours trying to find the answer and everybody has an option on how to do it but it doesn't work with the 2018 8.4 with uconnect and cell phone connect

The only way it worked for me was to take off one battery cable for 20-30 sec. Then put it back on. That reset the radio and climate controls.
