How do i reset the 2004 Cadillac SRX anti theft system?

To reset the anti-theft system in the 2004Cadillac SRXBegin by putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the accessory position. Pull the hood release lever which is below and to the left of the steering wheel. Exit the vehicle leaving the drivers door open and feel under the front center of the hood for the secondary hood release and raise the hood. Look towards the left for the engine compartment fuse box. Look at the back side of the fuse box lid and find the location of the fuse labeled THEFT. Pull that fuse out, inspect it to make sure it isnt blown. Now insert the fuse and remove it three times and after You removed it the third time, insert it and leave it in. This will reset the ECM and the theft system.
