I ordered a 2021 Silverado 1500 RST Double cab through my dealership on 2/13/21, I have not been given a build date yet, 26 weeks now. Obviously not very happy. I did order a few non typical options (trailering mirrors, multi-flex tailgate) It still seems like an extremely long wait to me. I contact Chevrolet weekly through there build and price message app, and seems as though I get different answers every time.

I ordered my 2022 GMC 1500 Denali Limited the first week of September 2021. It went into production October 4, 2021. I took delivery yesterday October 28, 2021. 14 days from build start date to delivery in Oklahoma. About the 3rd week of September I emailed gm.com with questions concerning delivery date. They called me the same day which surprised me and said my truck was scheduled to start production October 4 but couldn’t give me a delivery date.

I ordered a refreshed 22 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3 Pacific Metallic Blue on 3/28, order accepted on 4/13 and told TPW is 5/16. But was emailed on 5/2 that truck is being built. Called and was told TPW is 5/16. Who the heck knows. I wasn’t expecting to hear anything for a couple months. I hope the email was right. Looking forward to the new interior…If anyone has a guess on the timeline from here, I am all ears!!

I ordered a regular cab long bed 3500hd wt on 4/10/21 they had to resubmit it in June for a 2022 on January 11 I was told that the production date would be may.13 months is a little excessive in my opinion

I ordered a Sierra 3500 from Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City Florida on October 16 2021 , my dealership has informed me that it has a start build date of February 22 2022. I was told today that don’t expect delivery for 90 days after that.

I ordered my HD 7 months ago and it is still at order received but not accepted.
Ordered 2022 Silverado 3500HD diesel in August 2021. Truck pictures has appeared on dealers website since December 15!!According to GM the Truck is in Flint, MI. DEFINITELY frustrated/frustrating!!

Try ordering a Ford. We ordered an F250 regular cab 4wd in August of 2021. Still no build date. Ford is now taking orders for 2023 Government trucks, but no indication about ours. I ordered a 3500GMC WT diesel dually in October for myself. Build date Jan 3. Go figure

Still waiting for our GM Truck. Ordered it on Feb 12th, 2022 and it is October 4th and nothing. Our truck is nothing special. Considering dumping and just getting a Ford at this point.

My 2022 Suburban High Country was Ordered in October of 2021. Order start date notification was sent January 2021. It’s May still waiting. Very frustrating.

Unfortunately, HD trucks are significantly delayed.
I ordered my Chevrolet 3500 DRW Duramax in August; it has a VIN, so it's at least partially built. Hope to have it by June.
