The 2010 GMC Acadia useS36 ounces of standard R-134A freon to completely fill the system. The freon system is what will keep Your AC system working and running cold, if You notice that it is warmer or weaker than normal then Your freon levels may be low. In Your engine compartment are low and high pressure ports for the HVAC system and this is where You will need to add freon. In general I recommend that You let a professional handle the freon in Your car. A simple can to recharge the AC will not measure out the amount of freon in the system. Usually it takes a professional freon exchanger tool to remove the existing freon and then fill it to the manufacture's specifications.
