4.7 quarts. The problem is if you put 5 quarts in what can happen is some of the moving parts can actually aerate the oil causing air bubbles in it which of course you don’t want. Someone told me that happens when oil is overfilled.Not 100% sure if that’s correct but that does sound like something you want to avoid
4.7 quarts is correct. Just put in 3/4 of the fifth quart. You will overfill if you put in anything over 4.7 quarts and over time you may blow out engine seals.
