How You adjust the mirrors in a 2017 Toyota Yaris depends on if they are the manually-adjustable type of the power-adjustable type. To adjust the manual type, push on the outside edge of the mirror to position it where You want it and where it gives You the best field of view. If You have the powered type, press the L or R button below and to the left of the steering wheel to select the left or right mirror. Below those are the 4-way adjustment buttons, press the button the corelates to the direction that You need the mirror to move. The mirrors can be folded in to protect them from being hit while parked and while going through a car wash.

Outside rear view mirrors. Mirror angle can be adjusted. Adjust the mirror up, down, in or out by pushing the mirror surface. To select a mirror to adjust, press the switch.
