The key fob battery for the 2011 Toyota RAV4 is a CR2016 -- a common size that can be found through most major outlets for as little as $1 each. However, since the key fob is an integral part of Your vehicle's operation, You may want to choose a premium brand, which could break the bank at as high as $5 per battery. Changing the battery itself is a simple process that should take You no more than a few minutes. Insert a flathead screwdriver or other small pry tool into the notch at the top of the key. This will reveal a panel that requires a smaller screwdriver to pry out. Then, go back to Your larger pry tool and stick it into the notch. Once this apart, it will reveal the battery compartment; swap Your old battery for the new one, put together the key fob once more, and You're finished.
