Your 2010 Ford F-150 will come with Ford's SYNC system, in partnership with Microsoft. This is a "proprietary" (ish) system that Ford claims will integrate all of Your electronics seamlessly while driving the vehicle. In practice, it's not too bad, though better alternatives do seem to exist. However, that's outside the scope of Your question. To connect to bluetooth, first You'll need to turn on Your mobile device and ensure that bluetooth is enabled. Then, press the "PHONE" button to access the phone menu. Press OK. "Add a Device" will display, where You should once again press OK to confirm. At this point, search Your mobile device for a connection called "SYNC". Select this, and a SRX digit number will display on the SYNC screen for three minutes. On Your mobile, type this number, and Your F-150 will prompt You through the rest of the process.

Turn on bluetooth pairing on your phone or device via the settings menu. Go to the add device options through the truck's menu to pair.
