If the fog lights are not working in Your 2013 Ford Explorer the first thing that You should check are the fuses. If the fuses are okay then the most likely culprit is a burnt out bulb that will need to be replaced. To replace a fog light bulb You will need to crawl under the vehicle and remove the splash guard from the front bumper. When that is gone You will be able to access the wire harness that plugs into the back of the fog light housing. When You remove this harness the bulb will come out of the housing as well and then You can replace it with a new one to get them working again.

The fog lights on a 2013 ford explorer can be replaced by disconnecting wiring harness, removing the old bulbs from the socket and replacing them with the new ones before returning the wiring harness.

Install new fog lights by removing the cover and unscrewing the old bulb. Then screw on the new bulb and replace the cover.
