To reset oil change light in a 2016 Jeep Patriot You will need to turn the ignition on but do not fully start the engine. To do this just turn the key to the step before Start. With the key in the On position You will need to slowly press the gas pedal all the way to the floor three times within a ten second time span. From there You will need to turn the key off and then fully start the engine to verify that the light has been reset.

Turn the 2016 jeep patriot on but do not start the engine, then push the gas to the floor three times. Turn the vehicle off then turn it back on and it should be reset.
