From time to time, You'll find that You may need to reset Your Honda CR-V's radio. Luckily, there are two different ways to do this in most model years. On newer model years, You should be able to press and hold the POWER button for at least 5 seconds. However, You should be warned that doing this will erase all of Your settings, favorites, and history -- You shouldn't do it unless You're okay with this. The other way, in case You have an older model or the POWER button method doesn't work, is to disconnect the negative battery terminal for 5 to 10 minutes. You should press and hold the POWER button here as well, to discharge any stored power. When You reconnect, Your radio should be reset.

Hi. I would like to factory reset my 2019 CRV LX radio system but every time I hold down the power button the radio turns on. One more thing that's driving me mad. The equalizer setting in my iPhone7 keeps turning off whenever the bluetooth in the car connects and then turns on again after I leave the car. For ex. If I choose "Rock" in eq it turns to "Off" in car and back to "Rock" when I leave the car. Neither Honda or Apple have an answer.
