Ford's proprietary door code system is a pretty cool feature to have, right up until when You lock Yourself out by forgetting the code. However, it should be relatively simple to reset, if You know the proper steps. First, You'll need to locate the original security code, which can be found in the owner's manual or the owner's wallet card. This will be a five digit number, and it's unique to Your vehicle. Press the 1/2 button on the door. Enter each number of Your new chosen code, ensuring that each is entered within 5 seconds of the previous. Store Your settings by pressing the 1/2 button for the first driver, or the 3/4 button for the second driver. Your doors will lock and unlock to let You know that the new code entry was successful.

I’ve done that and it does not erase any of the codes I’ve programmed into my truck. I’m trying to keep a very snoopy wife out, and can’t figure out how.

In order to reset the door code on a ford f150, you must first enter the original factory code, and then press 1/2 within five seconds. Within five more seconds, press 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time, and the system will revert back to the factory code only.

Get your factory five digit code and enter it onto the keypad, then within five seconds press the 1/2 key. Continue by typing in your new five digit code by entering each number within 5 seconds of the last.

None of that works for erasing the first code.
