If You want to turn Your headlights off on Your Ford Escape, You've come to the right place. To turn them off, look over to the left side of Your instrument dash. If You don't know what iMean, then look to the left of Your steering wheel. Now, You'll come across what they call a multi position headlamp switch. It seems kind of intimidating by the icons on it but it's simple. To turn off the headlamps, all You need to do is move the switch to OFF. I have one of these too in my car and I juSTSet it to Auto. It turns them on and off for You and You don't have to worry about leaving them on and having a dead battery the next day.

Lights will automatically turn of after 10 minutes of the car being shut off. The lights will not turn off if the car door is open, so check to make sure all the doors are fully closed.

Look to the left of the dash on your ford escape, and you will see a headlamp switch with several positions. Selecting offť will turn off all of the lights.

On a 2011 Ford Escape. The rear dome light has a manual switch on it. I must have accidentally hit it when packing the back hatch and it stayed on all day. You physically have to turn it off or into the neutral state.

Yes, the daytime running lights are ALWAYS on and there's no way to shut them off. Even if your dial is in the off (○) position.
