To unlock a ford 500 by resetting the keyless entry you would take the following steps: sit in the driver's seat of your ford 500. Insert the key in the ignition and turn it from "off" to "run" eight times within 10 seconds. Press any button on the remote; the door locks will engage again to confirm the programming. Press any button on the second remote; the door locks will engage again to confirm the programming. Turn the key to the "off" position to complete the programming. The door locks will engage again confirming that programming is complete. Locate the keypad on the driver's door. Press the buttons that correspond with the factory remote keyless entry (rke) code. This code can be obtained from the dealership if it has been lost.
