To reset the oil change light on a 2015 Ford Escape, watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4g9GqGMYaWA Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If you don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine. Having high quality oil is important for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with this fluid at some point. Old or bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. A common problem is an awful burning odor. This needs to be viewed closely as soon as possible or the car might explode. You could experience bad gas mileage. Knocking noise may show up from the engine.

To reset oil change in a 2015 ford escape, simply, turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Then, press both gas and brake pedals together making sure they are fully pressed. After three seconds, oil reset in prog will display, and after about 25 seconds oil reset complete message will show up.

Reset the oil change light on your 2015 ford escape by first turning on the ignition. You then need to press and hold the gas and brake pedals until the message changes to oil change complete. Release the pedals and turn off the ignition.

The oil change required light on my 2015 Ford Escape is not referring to engine oil. When the mileage gets to be around 28,500 that notification comes on to remind you to replace the transmission fluid at 30,000 miles. Per the owner manual.
