The 2010 Ram 1500 uses what's known as a TIPM -- a totally integrated power module. Here, You'll find a number of fuses and a handful of relays, mostly for core and auxiliary vehicle functions. Among them, fortunately, is the alternator. The TIPM is located under the hood in the engine compartment, near the front left fender. In this TIPM, You'll find the alternator fuse on the upper left hand side -- M31, if You have a diagram handy. In case You don't, it's a 20A fuse that sits vertically, second from the far left (the far left is two horizontal fuses -- M32 and M21). By removing it, You should be able to check it and ensure proper (or improper) function.
