The 2011 Dodge Ram might experience an inability to start or episodes of stalling while driving if the wireless ignition module needs replaced. Often the WIN is going bad if the key must be jiggled in the ignition to initiate a start. Some owners have successfully replaced the module by removing from below the dash and the ignition. A professional may use the module to test a key by inserting and turning to the first position to activate the corresponding warning lights. A faulty module will only activate the odometer and interior lights if a key is inserted. Before removing a failed WIN, disconnect the positive battery cable. Cost to have it professionally restored averages between $300-$500 in parts and labor.

If the 2011 dodge ram has a bad ignition switch then it will not start, or will struggle to start. This can be caused by a broken switch, or bad wires going to the switch.
