The air suspension problems on the 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 usually are caused by either compressor, shock, or line issues. The system uses compressed air to inflate and deflate the shocks around the vehicle to help keep it level and smooth while it is driving. Usually if there is a compressor problem the whole system will not work at all. You will first want to check the fuse to the compressor to make sure that it is in tact, and if it is then there could be a wiring problem to it. If Your compressor is fine but You still have air suspension issues it could be caused by leaks either in the lines, or at the shocks themselves. You will need to pressure test them and see if You can find any leaks.

In cold weather the system freezes up and will not inflate and dodge wont do a thing about it

The primary complaint concerning the air suspension in a 2017 dodge ram 1500 is that the truck doesn't maintain its ride height. Some have also stated the compressor is noisy or runs too long and that the truck sags a bit in the rear on one side.
