There are variety of reasons which cause no sound coming from the radio in a 2018 Chevy Silverado. One could be just as simple as a blown fuse check Your owners manual for the fuse box diagram to locate the radio going to the fuse. If it is bad pull out and replace with a new fuse with the same amperage. Another reason for no sound could be a loose electrical connection which could be anywhere from behind the radio two in the doors going to the speakers. It's possible that the speakers are blown in which case the door panels would have to be removed to gain access to the bolts that hold the speaker to the door.

No sound on the radio is most often caused by a blown fuse or a lack of electricity to the radio.
